AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care across the continuum. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires an RN license, an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), strong communication, teamwork and critical thinking, with commitment to whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
• RN licensure required and Florida background may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective care and documentation.
• Respond to code situations and maintain infection control standards.
