Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Holiday Seasonal Associate to support the busy retail season. You will assist customers on the sales floor, operate the register, stock merchandise, and keep the store organized and ready for peak holiday shopping.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and flexibility, with the anticipated pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required, and you must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and safe lifting techniques.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selection, gift ideas, promotions, and store services.
• Accurately process sales, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions.
• Help achieve store sales goals through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Receive, process, ticket, stock, and replenish merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain organized stockrooms and sales floor presentation to ensure products are easy to shop.
• Support fulfillment activities, customer pickups, deliveries, and inventory accuracy as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and support the store wherever business needs require.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
