Job summary

American Girl in New York City is seeking a dynamic Seasonal Merchandise Handler to support Back of House operations, unloading/loading trailers, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized stock areas to keep the store running smoothly.

You will work open and close shifts, weekends and holidays, with a friendly, guest-focused approach, including assisting customers, including children, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Available to work open and close shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments and maintain stockroom standards.
• Pack up and load trailer with returns and doll hospital items.
• Maintain stock on the sales floor and fulfill special requests while upholding visual standards.
• Support retail operations including floor moves, equipment maintenance, and safety for customers and staff.
• Prioritize tasks flexibly to meet business needs.
