Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional guest service, assisting with video game product needs, and maintaining a clean, well-merchandised selling floor.

You should be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on achieving sales goals and upholding store standards. This is a short-term seasonal position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with video gaming needs, and guiding purchases.
• Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and transfer from stock room to floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, and follow safety best practices.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
