Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales periods. You will focus on delivering excellent guest service, assisting with video game needs, and helping with merchandising and store upkeep.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or guest service experience. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required to meet seasonal demand.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs, recommend items, and close transactions with friendly service.
• Support store presentation, cleanliness, inventory, and merchandising during peak season.
• Collaborate with team to keep restrooms and sales floor organized per company guidelines.
• Stock shelves and transfer merchandise from stock room to selling floor, ensuring items are presented well.
• Work to meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Follow loss prevention practices and safety guidelines.
