Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the store team in Seymour, IN. This short-term role focuses on sales, store maintenance, and exceptional guest service during peak seasonal days.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior retail or guest service experience is a plus. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and be aware of scams.
• Follow GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
