Job summary

GameStop Moreno Valley seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales days, delivering best-in-class guest service and helping with merchandising and store maintenance. You will greet guests, assist with video game needs, restock merchandise, and uphold safety and loss prevention practices while upholding company policies.

Availability during holidays and weekends is required; candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma preferred and prior retail experience

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending items during transactions.
• Support store operations, visual merchandising, and holiday sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory controls and loss prevention practices, and follow safety best practices.
• Adhere to store policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
