Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Portage, IN seeks a Seasonal Events Associate for part-time work during the holidays. You will support store events, assist customers, and promote programs while providing a legendary shopping experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, data entry, and cash handling. You will help run in-store outdoor skills workshops and participate in scheduled events.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and Associates.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions and promoting programs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Management, coworkers, children and customers.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
• Facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in Store events as scheduled.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
