Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Adherence to SIC and Customer safety and quality processes at all times.

Responsibilities

• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves based on load requirements.
• Attach pulleys and blocks to overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook and coordinate hoisting.
• Direct Crane Operator using hand signals, loudspeaker, or telephone to ensure safety.
• Set up, brace, and rig hoisting equipment with hand tools and power wrenches.
• Splice rope and wire cables to make or repair slings and tackle.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and materials according to signals.
