Job summary

Park District of Oak Park seeks a Hockey Program Supervisor for the ice arena. This full-time role develops, manages and grows hockey programs including camps, Hockey Academy, adult and travel hockey, drop-in sessions and clinics, while coordinating with leadership on budgets and staff.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field, at least 2 years in hockey/figure skating, 2 years of supervisory experience, CPR/First Aid and AED certification within 3 months, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field required.
Two years of experience in ice arena hockey and/or figure skating.
Two years of progressive supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate hockey programs and related facilities and services.
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise staff and evaluate performance.
Coordinate with leadership on budgets and program goals.
Lead coaching staff, volunteers, and ensure safety and program quality.
Maintain equipment, records, and program documentation.
