Job summary

EIMCo is seeking personnel for a manufacturing environment in Iowa. You will ensure product quality through checks and documentation, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and keep work areas clean and organized while adapting to a range of duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some industrial experience, with a readiness to learn the EIMCo process and operate hand and power tools in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn EIMCo manufacturing process through training.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Competency may substitute formal education with training.

Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and performs all required checks.
• Maintain required documentation.
• Perform required preventive maintenance checks on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and report concerns immediately.
• Maintain assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to routinely bend and squat
• Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders, or platforms
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to repetitively grasp
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred. Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency in the position is demonstrated.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a safety sensitive position. This work is performed in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high levels of noise due to machinery and equipment processes. This position requires the use of personal protective equipment for safety compliance and may include overtime as deemed necessary by management.
