Job summary

RealManage in Lisle, IL is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to ensure upkeep, safety, and appearance of community properties. You will work with the Maintenance Manager on preventative care, timely repairs, and residents’ environments.

The role requires experience in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting, plus strong English skills and problem-solving. Safety-minded, with ability to use common tools, is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting is required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual is a plus.
• Must be a proficient problem-solver and know how to use tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment.
• Manage and complete work orders through the work order system.
• Carry out general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings.
• Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
