Job summary

RTX’s Heavy Maintenance Center is hiring a Quality Engineer to support MRO operations and collaborate with inspectors, engineers and production teams. You will drive data-driven improvements, lead audits, and investigate nonconformances to prevent recurrence.

The role requires a technical degree and 2+ years of experience, with ability to obtain a US security clearance and travel up to 10%. Onsite US-based role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or business field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Quality Inspectors, Process & Methods Engineers, and Operations to support MRO.
• Demonstrate customer focus, business judgment and teamwork.
• Lead cross-functional teams and interface with management and partners.
• Collect and analyze data to minimize disruptions and escapes.
• Lead investigations using RCCA and process analysis to identify root causes.
• Lead quality system, process, and product audits.
