Job summary

Xsolis in Franklin, TN, is hiring an Integration Engineer II to design and implement interfaces across XSOLIS applications and partner systems. You will collaborate with application teams and third-party experts to define business needs, configure interfaces, and ensure stability of data exchange.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, documentation, and proactive support, with opportunities to work across the integration stack and configurations. This is an on-site position based in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience creating and maintain HL7 interfaces.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic knowledge of application support.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HL7 v2.x message types and segment/field mapping (ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT, MDM).
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of XML, CCD, CDA and DICOM, and standards such as LOINC, CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10, SNOMED.
• Proficient with SQL Server/MySQL.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP security, networking, and data transport methods.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to troubleshoot interface issues through research.
• Experience with Mirth Connect (or similar) interface engine.
• Proficient working from the command line.

Responsibilities

• Determine business needs for interfaces with stakeholders and document requirements.
• Provide proactive live interface monitoring and permanent resolutions with senior engineers.
• Support, troubleshoot, upgrade, and audit the interface engine.
• Research technical interface problems and apply troubleshooting with minimal assistance.
• Create and maintain flat file pass-through for third-party entities and support the mapping/tooling.
• Maintain detailed architectural documentation for deployed interfaces.
• Manage information flow between internal and external customers.
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues and explain interfaces.
• Review specifications and architect interfaces based on their design.
• Create interfaces from scratch and document new interfaces for projects.
