Job summary

Wellness Equity Alliance is hiring an HIV Street Medicine Program Manager to lead field operations and regional/national collaboratives. You will launch new teams, streamline workflows, and build referral networks with shelters, harm reduction programs, housing providers, behavioral health agencies, and local health departments.

You will also manage program operations, engage partners, and help shape governance, data sharing, and funding strategies as the initiative scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, nursing, health administration, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience managing community health programs.
• Proven record of launching new programs or sites and leading them to stable operation.

Responsibilities

• Launch new field teams from assessment through steady state with guidance from the Director of Street Medicine.
• Build and maintain a standard launch playbook for each new team.
• Conduct local stakeholder outreach and establish referral pathways with shelters, harm reduction programs, housing providers, behavioral health agencies, EDs, police, public health, and CBOs.
• Support team lead check-ins to resolve operational issues, refine workflows, and staff retention.
• Conduct outreach to city/county/state health departments to convene regional and statewide collaboratives.
• Engage FQHCs, HIV/AIDS service orgs, academic medical centers, tribal health programs, Ryan White recipients, and CBOs.
• Shape collaboratives governance, charters, shared goals, and data-sharing agreements.
• Facilitate learning communities that spread best practices and train new street medicine teams.
• Identify and assess new markets for expansion including urban, rural, frontier, and tribal communities.
• Represent WEA at national conferences, policy convenings, and funder briefings.
