Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, HIV Regional Trainer to empower field-based teams in the HIV portfolio. You will deliver clinical and product training, role-model best practices, and tailor learning for regional needs across assigned territories.

The role requires partnership with L&D, marketing, and field leadership to ensure compliant, effective education. You will travel ~40–50% within the region, lead onboarding for new hires, and apply modern learning methods to improve engagement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years pharma/biotech commercial experience (sales, marketing, training, or reimbursement).
• Minimum 2 years HIV specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate clinical, product and disease state training using HQ-approved materials.
• Conduct regional field rides to observe interactions and provide real-time feedback.
• Lead onboarding of new hires in partnership with sales leadership and validate knowledge and tools.
• Utilize virtual and in-person methods to deliver engaging learning experiences.
