Job summary

Staffing Solutions Organization (SSO) is seeking a HIV Prevention Program Coordinator to support the Maine CDC Infectious Disease Prevention Program. This role focuses on developing, coordinating, and expanding statewide biomedical prevention initiatives, including PrEP, PEP, and status-neutral care programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or extensive related experience.
• Two years of experience in community or health education program planning, development, implementation, or evaluation.
• Directly related professional experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate statewide HIV prevention initiatives focused on PrEP and PEP access.
• Expand biomedical prevention programs through partnerships with community and clinical organizations.
• Support statewide efforts to improve HIV prevention outcomes and status-neutral care services.
• Monitor PrEP and PEP utilization and identify opportunities for program improvement.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for PrEP/PEP activities with healthcare providers, community organizations, federal partners, and the public.
• Build relationships with infectious disease providers, pharmacies, and community partners.
• Coordinate participation in HIV, STI, viral hepatitis, and harm reduction planning groups.
• Facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to advance public health goals.
