Equity Is the Word, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive HIV specialty care in the Washington DC area, including PrEP/PEP services, STI and viral hepatitis care, and primary care for chronic conditions. The role emphasizes culturally responsive, client-centered care for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing required.
• Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current prescribing authority and applicable registrations.
• Maryland Nurse Practitioner licensure within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Provide HIV specialty care including assessment, treatment, monitoring, and follow-up for PWH.
• Deliver HIV prevention services, including PrEP and PEP evaluation, counseling and follow-up.
• Provide primary care for acute illnesses and chronic disease management.
• Coordinate care with RNs and other providers and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver culturally responsive, affirming care to diverse patient populations, including LGBTQ+ communities.
