Job summary

Positive Impact Health Centers in Georgia seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide specialty assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for STIs including syphilis, gonorrhea, and Chlamydia. The NP/PA will provide HIV PrEP and primary care for patients living with HIV/AIDS, with support from a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) or Physician Assistant Degree/Program from accredited college or university.
• Preference for 2–5 years of NP/PA experience in a clinical setting.
• Georgia Licensed NP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for STI screening and treatment per CDC and Georgia DPH guidelines.
• Elicits health histories related to sexual activity, HIV status, and exposure to STIs.
• Orders immunizations and oversees PrEP eligibility and prescriptions.
• Conducts HIV care evaluations, initiates ART when appropriate, and follows labs and adherence.
• Maintains confidential medical records and participates in team meetings and case discussions.
• May travel to other PIHC locations as needed.
