Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician in Morton Grove, IL. You will work at the Moving and Storage Center, applying technical knowledge to advise customers on towing packages and install the right tow setup while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic wiring and tool experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, with eligible benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with basic wiring and using hand/power tools is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Explain U-Haul towing packages and options.
• Recommend and install the appropriate tow package for customers’ vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to customers at the location.
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
