Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience required.
• NYSED Histotechnologist license required upon hire or NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Performs grossing, embedding, microtomy, and staining for histological diagnosis.
• Operates equipment for embedding, sectioning, staining, and Immunohistochemistry as requested.
• Maintains equipment, performs daily quality control, and adheres to safety standards.
• Trains other technologists, technicians, and residents; updates procedures as needed
