Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Histology or Medical Technology, or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology, and 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Previous experience as a Histology Technician preferred.

• Process tissue samples for histological diagnosis under pathologist supervision.
• Perform grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining and IHC processing.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily quality control; follow policies and safety standards.
• Communicate with internal and external clients clearly and professionally.
• Report to assigned UR Labs location/site and contribute to training of others.
