The candidate will process, prepare slides, and perform staining on all specimens submitted for examination, with possible supervision of students as determined by the area supervisor.

Eligibility includes HTL-ASCP Histotechnologist certification and a Bachelor’s degree. This position supports the hospital’s mission and patient care goals within the lab services team.

Qualifications

• HTL-ASCP Histotechnologist requirement.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Processes, prepares slides and performs staining on all specimens submitted for examination.
• Direct supervision of students may be required at the discretion of the area supervisor.
• Employee must have the same licensure or have completed the same training to satisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student.
