Qualifications

• Two years of histotechnologist experience (Histotechnologist II).
• HTL certification or HT certification paths as alternatives for III level.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with pathologists, staff, clinicians, vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform histological procedures per CLIA, CAP and JCO requirements.
• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic diagnosis from pre- to post-analytic phases.
• Gross biopsy specimens and load blocks; prepare high-quality slides with supervision.
• Maintain preventive maintenance, manage inventory, collect data and report results.
