Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a histotechnician.

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic exam.
• Section embedded tissue with a microtome and mount slides.
• Perform immunohistochemical tests on formalin-fixed paraffin sections.
• Prepare stains and reagents needed for procedures.
• Record equipment log data and maintain quality control.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols in a high-volume lab.
