Qualifications

• Ability to prepare surgical and autopsy tissue specimens.
• Knowledge of embedding, sectioning, staining, labeling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and process histology specimens for microscopic examination.
• Perform immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy techniques.
• Assist pathologist with gross dissection and specimen setup.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform QC/maintenance.
• Train other lab personnel and support new procedure development.
