Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in histology or related field.
• English written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Experience embedding, sectioning FFPE and frozen tissue.
• Ability to follow policies, maintain quality control, and manage laboratory records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination.
• Collect, accept, and recognize specimens as they arrive in the lab; assist in selecting fixatives; embed tissue and cut FFPE and frozen sections.
• Stain and mount tissue sections to support disease assessment by Pathologist/Researcher.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment; keep quality control records; track work performed.
