Under the direct supervision of the Histology Laboratory Team Leader or Division Manager, performs a variety of technical and general duties at a basic skills and knowledge level.

Qualifications:

1. Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree or completion of required relevant coursework in Medical Technology or a related science
2. HT(ASCP) or HTL (ASCP), or within one year of date of employment
3. Certified as a histotechnologist or equivalent preferred
4. Completion of student clinical rotations or 1 year of on-the-job histology experience
