Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Histotechnologist to perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and filing with a 4:00 am start. The role requires ASCP HTL certification, a BS in histotechnology, and at least 3 years of histology experience. Dermatology exposure is a plus, applicable to a fast-paced lab environment.

You will work independently in a team, ensuring precise processing, quality control, and accurate documentation across blocks and slides.

• Must be proficient in histology and reliable.

Position purposeThe Histotechnologist’s main responsibility is to perform all functions in the histology lab to include embedding, microtomy, staining, and filing. This is a 4:00 am start time position.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Must be proficient in the following areas:EmbeddingMicrotomyRoutine StainingSpecial Staining/immunohistochemistryFile slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric orderEquipment quality controlPerform related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in histotechnology, biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related life science field.HTL (ASCP) certification is required.Performance Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in histology preferred.
