Job summary

Epiphany Dermatology in Waco, TX is seeking a Histotechnologist/Histotechnician to support our dermatopathology laboratory across clinics. You will embed, section, and stain tissue slides under supervision, ensuring compliant lab practices and timely results for patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' related lab experience as a technician.
• Histotechnician requires an Associate's degree and certified program.
• Histotechnologist requires a Bachelor of Science and ASCP certification.
• ASCP certification is required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and accurate lab services under supervision.
• Prepares, processes and handles specimens per safety protocols.
• Performs administrative lab duties and limited testing-related tasks.
• Assists Mohs surgery by sectioning and staining slides.
• Maintains CLIA records and quality assurance forms.
• Ensures proper disposal of biohazard waste.
