VHC Health is seeking a Histotechnician to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination, including embedding, microtomy, and specimen preparation. The role focuses on producing high-quality tissue sections efficiently while following lab quality and safety standards.

Qualified candidates typically have an associate degree in a related field and at least three years of histology experience; ASCP HT certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of at least two years of college coursework in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related science field is preferred.
• Three years of direct experience in histology lab including histotechnician duties is preferred.
• Histotechnician (HT) certification by ASCP is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination with embedding, microtomy, and sectioning.
