Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Surgical Pathology Technician to prepare surgical specimens for gross and microscopic examination and to assist pathologists with special procedures. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment and experience with Ventana Ultra systems and frozen sections.

The position supports dayshift hours from 5am to 1:30pm in the Anatomic Pathology department, with flexibility for varied start times including Saturday rotations.

Qualifications

• HT (ASCP) or eligible.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
• Must have flexibility with various start times; Saturday rotation is required.
