BASIS Ed in Phoenix is seeking an Assistant History Teacher to join our bright teaching team. This role includes teaching 7th Grade World History and supporting both part-time and substitute teaching needs.

The Assistant Teacher helps maintain a positive, achievement-oriented school culture and may collaborate with the Deans and Directors of Student Affairs on behavior and student progress. A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Ability to pass NES Elementary Education Assessment, if necessary.
• Willingness to work full time and be considered for other campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom part-time and/or as a substitute.
• Assist teachers with classroom management.
• Provide student academic support and tutoring.
• Assist with events, labs, and testing.
• Work with Deans and Directors of Student Affairs on behavior management.
