BASIS Ed Phoenix is seeking an Assistant History Teacher to join our bright, passionate teaching team on the BASIS Charter School model, delivering rigorous liberal arts instruction and supporting student achievement.

The role includes teaching 7th Grade World History, classroom management support, tutoring, and event involvement across campus; you will collaborate with Deans and Directors of Student Affairs to foster academic progress and a positive school culture, with professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Ability to pass NES Elementary Education Assessment if needed.
• Willingness to work full time.
• Willingness to support multiple campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach 7th Grade World History and related courses.
• Assist with classroom management and student support.
• Help with school events, labs, testing, and assessments.
• Collaborate with Deans and Directors of Student Affairs on student behavior and progress.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, achievement-oriented school culture.
