Job summary

BASIS Phoenix Primary is seeking a Kindergarten Teaching Fellow to join our bright, passionate teaching team to start ASAP. The role provides hands-on exposure to the BASIS Charter School model and program, helping with classroom tasks, student support, and school-wide initiatives across campuses.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree, be prepared to obtain IVP clearance, and demonstrate dedication to rigorous liberal arts education and student achievement in a collaborative school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Willingness to take and pass the NES Elementary Education Assessment, if necessary.
• Willingness to acquire and maintain BASIS Charter School teaching methodologies.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Classroom teaching, both part-time and as a substitute.
• Assisting teachers with classroom management.
• Student academic support and tutoring.
• Assisting classroom teachers with events, labs, and testing.
• Working with teachers in evaluating student progress, needs, and gains.
• Proctoring assessments and supervision duties.
