Job summary

College of Southern Nevada is seeking part-time instructors to teach History courses, primarily in an on-ground format, with potential opportunities for online instruction.

Teaching assignments will generally include introductory-level History courses, with possible assignments to other program courses based on departmental needs. The role requires a Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) with 18 graduate credits in the subject.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level courses in history.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide teaching and student advisement, recruitment activities and curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening and/or weekend courses.
