Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in History preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with InTASC Core Teaching Standards, CAEP accreditation standards, and C3 Framework preferred.
• Prior teaching experience at the secondary and collegiate level preferred.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and Colleague system preferred.
• Statement on teaching philosophy required.

Responsibilities

• Complete systematic program reviews to ensure alignment with CAEP and standards.
• Advise History Education majors and oversee field experiences for teacher candidates.
• Teach Methods course for Social Studies and General Education courses online and in person.
• Maintain documentation and data for accreditation purposes.
• Coordinate accreditation processes and attend TEC meetings.
• Attend NCSS trainings and implement SPA standard changes.
• Maintain weekly office hours and participate in professional development.
• Support student activities and advise students throughout the program.
