Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for History adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester.

The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in History.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned History courses at Covington, Dyersburg, and Paris; prepare course materials.
• Evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
