Colonial Williamsburg Foundation seeks a Cashier/Sales Associate at the Raleigh Tavern Bakery in Williamsburg, VA. You will greet guests, assist with purchases, and share information about products and 18th-century history in a historic setting.

The role requires 3–6 months of public contact or sales experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong arithmetic ability. The position is on-site, outdoors, and non-exempt with potential overtime.

Qualificações

• 3 - 6 months public contact and/or sales experience.
• Ability to assist the public in a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Knowledge of Colonial Williamsburg and 18th-century history.
• Ability to research and document interpretive information; contribute to team effort; operate equipment; handle money.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, stairs.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers courteously and provide information about products.
• Promote and sell merchandise by assisting customers with selections.
• Replenish stock and check in inventory.
• Interpret history of 18th-century Williamsburg for visitors.
• Participate in on-the-job and selling-skills training.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain sanitary standards for food, bagging, and packaging.
