Job summary

Worcester Eisenbrandt Construction in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead historic restoration projects. This full-time on-site role requires guiding projects from planning through completion, coordinating site supervision, schedules, and budgets.

Candidates should have strong leadership, communication, and industry knowledge; familiarity with drawings, specs, and project controls; and a valid driver's license to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, specs, and information processes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build client relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites and office.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks for access to secure job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle, including planning, execution, Site Supervision, and completion.
• Develop project procedures based on a thorough review of specifications, schedules, and labor requirements.
• Prepare project cost estimates, including labor and material take-offs, to establish project budgets.
• Assemble work schedules and production reports based on the scope of work.
• Manage overall project costing and budgeting.
• Prepare and administer project schedules.
• Prepare, process, and manage project submittals and close-out documentation.
• Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures, interpret specifications, and coordinate construction phases to prevent delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure projects progress according to plan.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, contract documents, and company standards.
• Monitor quality of work and enforce safety regulations on job sites.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
