State of Vermont seeks a Historic Resources Specialist - Architecture - Limited Service to lead disaster recovery and resiliency efforts for flood-impacted historic communities. The role focuses on regulatory reviews under Section 106 and 22 VSA, evaluating Areas of Potential Effects, and establishing flood adaptation guidance for staff and applicants.

Additionally, the position involves authoring a Flood Resiliency Booklet, collaborating with state and federal agencies, and guiding communities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in historic preservation or architectural history AND two (2) years of professional experience in historic preservation or related program administration and/or management.

Responsabilités

• Lead disaster recovery and resiliency efforts for flood-impacted historic communities.
• Conduct regulatory reviews and compliance under Section 106 and 22 VSA.
• Evaluate Areas of Potential Effects and establish flood adaptation guidance.
