Job summary

The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane, WA seeks an experienced Event Planning Manager to coordinate all event stages and supervise meeting and banquet functions. You will liaise with sales, solve on-site issues, and guide group and catering logistics to ensure premier guest experiences.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in hotel sales and 1-year food & beverage exposure, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience
• 1-year food and beverage experience
• Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills
• Excellent business communication, written and verbal
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
• Professional appearance and confidence
• Effective communication with the public and team members
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
• Experience with hospitality sales CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution to ensure unforgettable guest experiences.
• Serve as liaison between customer and hotel sales to direct event execution.
• Be available during events to resolve problems and propose alternatives.
• Directly serve group and catering customers, managing logistics of blocks, F&B, space and billing.
