Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Illinois seeks a detail-oriented Clerk/Data Entry Specialist to support substance abuse treatment documentation, file management, and data collection in line with SUPR regulations and 77 IL Admin Code. You will input data into DARTS and help generate reports.

Responsibilities include maintaining administrative and clinical staff files, assisting with monthly/annual reporting, and collaborating with the office manager while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Essential job functions include those listed below.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for administering and inputting required data into the SUPR Departments Automated and Reporting and Tracking System (DARTS).Responsible for data collection and generation of program evaluations for both internal and state-level reports.Perform routine data entry of clinical information such as client participation and demographic.Coordinate with office manager on routine data entry of administrative information, which may include general staff records and training.Assist in data collection for monthly and annual reports, case studies, and work plans.File for administrative and clinical staff.Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential Qualifications:Certifications/Licenses:Not applicable for this positionEducation:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Experience and Competencies:One (1) year data entry experienceMust be highly organized, detail focused, and have excellent time managementMust possess strong computer skills, to encompass all Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to pass background checkAbility to obtain and maintain OIG LEIE clearanceAbility to pass pre-employment drug screeningAbility to exercise good judgment and discretionAbility to work well in a team environmentAdherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentialityMust have professional appearance and demeanorAbility to obtain and maintain clearance from Illinois Department of CorrectionsAbility to obtain and maintain CPR certification, first aid certification, and an annual tuberculosis testWorking Conditions:Work is primarily performed in an institutional setting.Essential Physical and Mental Demands of the JobThe employee must be able to perform the following essential duties and activities with or without accommodation:Physical Demands:Requires mobility and physical activity: Having an adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in an office, residential, or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), sitting for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. This factor is required to complete paperwork for many of the employees essential job functions and to observe client behavior and activities in and out of the facility.The normal work routine involves no exposure to human blood, body fluids or tissues.
