HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a Histology Technologist to join our hospital-based laboratory team. The candidate will be housed at Aventura Hospital and travel to locations in Broward and Dade County, with mileage covered by the employer.

• Associate degree in Science required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Analyze testing samples according to instructions and perform quality control procedures per protocol.
• Embed tissue specimens in correct orientation at a rate of 45–60 seconds per block.
• Section paraffin blocks at a rate of 35–40 blocks per hour.
• Produce sections of correct thickness with minimal artifacts.
• Perform routine H&E stains as per department procedure.
• Recognize and correct staining issues to meet standards.
• Prepare smears, cell blocks, and Cytospin preparations.
