Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical lab, chemistry, biology or related field with accredited histology training.
• 5 years clinical lab/histology experience preferred.
• State of Florida CLT license (Histology Technologist) or Histology Supervisor license required.

Responsibilities

• Process patient specimens including grossing, processing, embedding, cutting, staining (routine and special), and immunoperoxidase staining.
• Review daily technical systems for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory SOPs and quality parameters of instruments and reagents.
• Participate in QA/QC and equipment maintenance; manage inventory and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable laws and company policies.
