Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Histology program or an Associate Degree with histology lab training.
• Must maintain ASCP certification or equivalent as required by GDHR.
• Two years of pertinent laboratory experience in a clinical lab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare histological specimens for microscopic examination by the Pathologist.
• Perform routine and special histology stains daily.
• Maintain histology equipment and provide approved educational instruction to staff in the lab.
