Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Histotechnologist to perform technical and clerical tasks in the histology section following established SOPs. The role requires embedding, cutting, staining tissue for light microscopy and strict patient identification procedures.

The successful candidate will work with pathology staff to ensure accurate specimen handling and quality control. An Associate's Degree in Medical Lab Technology, Science or related field is required, with a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Medical Lab Technology, Science or related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Performs all technical and clerical functions in the histology section according to established operating procedures.
• Accurately fixes, embeds, cuts and stains tissue for light microscopy.
