Temple Hospital is seeking a Surgical Pathology Technician on a per diem basis to accession and store surgical specimens, and to support autopsy-related tasks in Philadelphia.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent); a science degree is preferred, with the possibility of considering relevant education or experience in lieu of a degree. One year of related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred or combination of education/experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsabilités

• Accessions and stores surgical specimens.
• Files and stores all materials related to pathology laboratory.
• Substitutes as needed in the Autopsy Room.
• Assists in preparation of labels on frozen section material and other tasks in surgical pathology.
