Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high complexity Histology procedures on patient specimens and quality control material to provide slides and data to assist in diagnosis.
• Operates and maintains instruments and equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Documents all quality control data.
• Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities and training of staff.
• Communicates with nursing staff, physicians, patients, co-workers and Lee Health customers with good customer service.
