Job summary

The Histo Technologist II at Exact Sciences in Redwood City, CA will perform skilled histology cutting, sectioning, H&E staining under supervision, and quality control to ensure accurate test results. The role involves interaction with sending sites and physicians and compliance with SOPs.

This is a 12+ months contract with specified shift schedule (Tue-Fri 3:00PM-11:30PM; Sat 12:00PM-8:30PM) and initial training; candidates need associate degree and 2 years histology experience;

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with histology lab experience.
• 2 years histology lab experience incl. microtomy, embedding, staining.
• Able to work under supervision and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform histology sectioning and H&E staining under supervision.
• Maintain quality control and accurate processing of specimens.
• Communicate issues and document procedures per SOPs.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and workflow coordination.
